The event takes place as part of the #ENDOmarch2023 awareness campaign focused on the disease endometriosis, which affects 1 in 10 women.
The film Below the Belt, produced by Hillary Clinton, features the stories of 4 female patients seeking answers to the symptoms of the disease. The film shows how women with endometriosis are often dismissed, underestimated and not trusted by society. Endometriosis is not visible. The disease affects one in ten women and the diagnosis takes an average of 7 to 10 years.
The film will be shown in its Czech premiere. The screening is in English with Czech subtitles.
