Dirt is a coming-of-age film about the sensitive 17-year-old Lena. She experiences her first love and longs for freedom and adventure. But her magical world is shattered in an instant when she is raped by her maths teacher ROBO, a previously sympathetic man who is platonically loved by all her classmates. Instead of sharing her traumatic experience with anyone, Lena chooses to keep quiet, even in front of her best friend ROSE. Feelings of guilt, shame and fear that no one will believe her drive her to attempt suicide, which scares everyone and lands Lena in a psychiatric clinic. There, she gradually discovers that she is not the only one who has had something similar happen to her. After being released from the hospital, Lena decides to break her silence and take action. Anger arises, which she no longer turns against herself. She doesn't want to be a victim anymore, but at the same time she realizes that it is too late to punish the guilty party. To truly free herself, she needs to confront ROB and force him to confess his crime.
