Silent Post tells a true story of courage of heroes big and small, set in the snowy Krkonoše Mountains in the winter of 1945. This thrilling winter adventure is based on a book by writer Jiří Stránský.
The family adventure film Silent Post takes place in the winter in the snowy Krkonoše Mountains at the end of the German occupation. A group of children rescue a downed French pilot they find in the woods. Their action is reminiscent of the principle of the well-known game of silent mail - the wounded pilot is passed between the children from one mountain village to another, like a secret message at school. But they play a risky game, because they are facing deadly soldiers of the occupation army, they have to outwit traitors and informers and, last but not least, survive in the harsh conditions of winter in the mountains. Their destination is a hospital several dozen kilometres away, where they find safe help for Pierre.
